Bowling Balls I’ve Owned

Storm Match Up
The Storm Match Up is the ball I currently use, and it’s 13 pounds. I love it because it was drilled perfectly by Dino (see review of his pro shop below) to accommodate the way I release the ball. It has a reactive surface that works perfectly with the level of hook I use.

Storm Tropical
The first ball I used was a 12-pound, bright pink Storm Tropical ball. It was a good beginner’s ball because it hugged the lane pretty well. I needed something more, so I upgraded to the Match Up, but remained with Storm because I was impressed by the Tropical.

When I was searching for a pro shop to get my first bowling ball, I found Dino’s on Google. Everyone said he was the best, and, well, he is.

He helped me identify the right bowling ball for me, as a beginner, and drilled it perfectly.

When I was looking to take my game to the next level, Dino helped me select a ball that would work with the way I throw it and help optimize my hook. He examined my first ball to see the typical rotation, and ended up drilling my second ball to make it more comfortable and effective each time I throw the ball. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
